Yes indeed ... some new heat to blast from your speakers/headphones ... A lot of new records came out and i'm extremely excited to share this new music with y'all ... I hope you're ready ... enjoi!

I normally don't make themed mixes ... so I thought it was time to share some of my all time favorite songs that incorporate synthesizers, or keyboards in some way or fashion ... I love these songs and i've listened to them over and over ... a lot of tracks didn't make the cut so i've decided to create more volumes of this particular phenomenon ... stay tuned ... the best of 2008 mix is on the horizon as well as some short films i've made ...

I was approached by the
Navajo Aids Network a while back to design some HIV awareness posters and flyers for an event during Window Rock Fair over the summer ... my friend
Larry Price provided the photography for this project ... perhaps you've seen these around ...

Larry and I tend to work together on his Native Model Studio projects when I have time ... Once again, we used his photographs and designed this banner ...

Over the summer I also worked on the Institute of American Indian Arts Student Handbook ... it's nice to be a student here to work on the image of the school and present something new and refreshing ... I wanted something more artistic than years previous ...

I was asked by a friend to create some promtional material for AIHEC's Student Congress Film Festival ... I thought it would be interesting to incorporate an actual handheld video Super 8 video camera into the design ... I also wanted it to be simple, dynamic and more exciting than years past ...

Art In The Raw is a exhibition of student work here at IAIA that happens twice a year ... this design is for the Spring 2008 semester promotional material ... the photographs are those of my friend Cameron Martinez ... his work speaks for itself ... I was delighted to work on this particular project ...

I have some friends that play in metal bands ... this is a fairly well known native american metal band hailing from Kayenta, AZ that asked me to work with them on their album artwork ... After seeing a few of their live shows ... the song "Blood Land" had stood out to me and quickly became one of my favorites... eventually they settled on the album name and I used the idea of blood splatters in the design ...

It's taken me a while to post this so I'm sorry for the lack of content ... I have a bunch of mixes on the way and some more work i've done in the past months ... there is a lot more to share so i'll post that in the days to come ...
